ERIH PLUS is an index containing bibliographic information on academic journals in the humanities and social sciences that meet certain requirements (external peer review, an academic editorial board with members affiliated with universities or other independent research organizations, a valid ISSN code confirmed by the international ISSN register, and others).

ERIH (European Reference Index for the Humanities) was originally established by the European Science Foundation, then it was extended to also include social science disciplines and renamed ERIH PLUS.

ERIH PLUS is operated by the Norwegian Social Science Data Services along with the Norwegian Scientific Index, a comprehensive bibliographic database aimed at covering and rating all serious academic publication channels worldwide.
