Journal Citation Reports (JCR) is a database of journals included into bibliometric evaluation. A number of indicators are observed: impact factor, number of published articles, number of citations, etc. JCR measures research influence and impact at the journal and category levels, and shows the relationship between citing and cited journals.
The database is divided into two sections: Science Edition (SCIE) and Social Sciences Edition (SSCI).
Journal Citation Reports is part of the Web of Science portal.
