Screen Studies Collection provides comprehensive access to information on the history, theory and criticism of film and television. It combines bibliographic records and abstracts from key databases with full-text articles and filmographies. The collection includes:
American Film Institute Catalog – a filmographic resource produced by the American Film Institute (AFI). It offers detailed information on feature films produced in the U.S.A. or financed by production companies in the period 1893–1993, comprehensively, with additional records covering films from 1995–2015. The database is updated annually.
FIAF International Index to Film Periodicals Database – a database of film literature and other resources in the field of film science produced by the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF). It contains the International Index to Film Periodicals and also "Treasures from the Film Archives", i.e., film inventories and information on silent film collections (both feature and documentary) held in archives worldwide.
Film Index International – the international film index created in collaboration with the British Film Institute. It includes films from more than 170 countries, from the first silent films through art-house classics to the latest blockbusters.
