The Deutsche digitale Bibliothek covers Germany's cultural and scientific heritage (books, music, sound recordings, archives, paintings, sculptures,…). It contains 36 million records. There are also virtual exhibitions to see.

4,493 German memory institutions are involved (libraries, archives, museums, galleries, research institutes,…).
