Česká literární bibliografie
The Czech Literary Bibliography operated by the Institute of Czech Literature of the Czech Academy of Sciences is the primary research infrastructure for Czech literary studies and related humanities (philology, philosophy, history, art history, journalism, etc.). Its goal is to process, continuously edit and update and make online a unique set of bibliographic and other knowledge databases, continuously mapping literary events and literary science in the Czech lands or the circulation of Czech literature abroad from the beginning of the national revival to the present, regardless of language, format or medium.
All data is available to all users at any time, from anywhere and for free online in open access mode. Today, Czech Literary Bibliography activities go far beyond the basic processing of databases. They include a very wide portfolio of activities ranging from the development and adaptation of software tools for accessing and analyzing bibliographic data (tools are distributed as open source), in-house research whether bibliographic (preparation of specialized bibliographies), digital humanities research or in the field of new establishing bibliographical data science, other forms of scientific communication (publications, organization of lectures and workshops, etc.), teaching and tutorials for students, especially universities, digitization (especially digitization of card files) to PR activities and interaction with user communities.
