SciVal is an analytical tool to assess science and research, offering quick and easy access to the research performance of more than 16,000 research institutions and their associated researchers from around 230 countries around the world.

SciVal uses data of the largest bibliographic and citation database Scopus from 1996 to the present date, which includes more than 48 million records. SciVal receives a weekly update of new data from Scopus, and due to processing times, SciVal is usually 1-2 weeks behind Scopus.

To access SciVal it is necessary to use your personal account with Elsevier company with an email address as login (registration is free).
