Oxford English Dictionary (OED) is the online version of the English language dictionary.

It contains more than 600,000 words from English-speaking countries worldwide, along with examples of their usage in more than 3,5 mil. citations from various resources (from classical literature and technical journals to film scenarios and cookbooks). The dictionary offers etymological analyses of words, spelling and pronunciation variants, and a list of citation references on the timeline. About 2,500 new words every quarter.
