The Historical Lexicon of Municipalities of the Czech Republic provides an overview of the development of the names of municipalities and their parts (previously referred to as settlements) in the context of the territorial structure, i.e. their jurisdiction
to districts and municipalities, in the period from 1869 to 2005.

The publication also offers additional data, for example, the first written mention of the existence of individual municipalities.
