Špalíček is designed for anyone who is interested in how their great-grandparents lived and what they did for fun, for those looking for unconventional entertainment, education, and inspiration for their own creations. Prints were not intended for quiet entertainment in a corner, but for singing and storytelling.

The digital library can be used as source material for social science disciplines, it will be used by librarians and museum workers, and last but not least, it can serve as a novel tool for pedagogues at various levels of schools.
