The digital library contains rare and endangered documents digitized in the national programs of the Memoriae Mundi Series Bohemica (mostly manuscripts, old prints, and prospectively other documents) and Kramerius (older newspapers and magazines and other rare documents printed on acid paper).

Access to the digital library is restricted by access rights. Metadata, ie bibliographic and other descriptions of documents are accessible to all, image data of documents not protected by copyright also, image data protected by copyright only to users accessing from computers located in individual libraries (National Library of the Czech Republic, Moravian Library in Brno, Olomouc Research Library, Municipal Library of Prague, National Film Archive, National Medical Library, and other libraries, as well as museums).
