CEEOL is an electronic library and platform for accessing professional and scientific journals and e-books from Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, with a focus on the humanities and social sciences.

The database processes more than 3,000 journals published in the Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and other European countries, or considered relevant to the region, its histories, cultures, languages, as well as its political and social problems and discussions for possible solutions.

CEEOL also provides access to open-access eBooks (approximately 6,100) and open-access indexed Grey Literature (approximately 13,000).
