Oxford Art Online offers access to easily searchable artistic resources. Through one gateway, users can search for recognized, regularly updated artistic references: Grove Dictionary of Art and Benezit Dictionary of Artists.

  • Grove Dictionary of Art (34-volume Encyclopedia edited by Jane Turner, published by Macmillan Publishers, London 1996). It is the most important reference source in the field of visual art from prehistory to the present.
